Were to get a better throat ;)

Hi;  after some usage i kind of  had to change the Throat of the little  a5 i have 

The one I bought  seems To be  a bit problematic, as it seems It has a wee bit less V shape in the Upper side of the thoat and the opening is verry narrow,   could please someone  point me To a more fitting source  On ebay?


 also;  i did  see somethings about all metal thoats; does someone Have any expiriances with those?

One small comment: all metal throats can suffer a bit from clogging  / sticking. E3D has good experience with this one, may be worth trying a genuine one from them.

I have been using a 4mm throat where the ptfe tube goes all the way through and contacts the nozzle. What a difference. I have not had a single clog with any material since switching to it. I’m not sure why every bowden machine wouldn’t use this configuration. I tried an all metal throat first and had massive clogs (maybe because it was cheap Chinese one) . The Micro Swiss is supposed to be the king but they aren’t cheap.

I also switched to the mk8 style nozzle from the e3d style and love it also. It just seems to be cleaner and petg doesn’t gather around the tip. It is also easier to see the line as it goes down.

The throat should never get hot enough to melt plastic. If it does, it will be hard to clean. The E3D throat is nicely polished to avoid sticking in the throat.

one more  question, 
 I started lookingfor a bett er Thoat as  The One I bought is  not having a   deep enoough  V angel IN the  Most opper  place funnel,.. 
  
 so the filament  is Stuck  ,  Before entering the Throat...
 this seems  not to have anny V  shape at all?
