probably a stupid question but I can’t find the answer in the wiki instructions.....

Do I set the multimeter to ACV or DCV?

Thanks

No such thing as stupid questions here.
You want DCV, for measuring DC volts. It's a good question, since you can get AC and DC motors. However, most stepper motors I imagine would be exclusively DC. Apart from mains, and some audio gear, most electronics are DC.

That that’s what I thought, but some guy on a video I saw said set it to ACV which is what prompted my question. Thanks again.
